By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, subject to any mandatory rights available under applicable law.

  1. Scope: BST Aviation Tools sells aviation tools, professional workshop tools, accessories, tool-storage solutions and related products. These Terms apply to purchases made through our website unless different terms have been expressly agreed in writing. Certain provisions apply specifically to consumers, while others may apply differently to customers purchasing in the course of a business or professional activity.
  2. Product Information: We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs, dimensions, compatibility information and other information displayed on our website are accurate. Product images are intended to represent products as accurately as reasonably possible. Minor differences in colour, finish, packaging, markings or appearance may occur and do not necessarily constitute a lack of conformity where they do not materially affect the agreed characteristics of the product. Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and specifications before ordering. If compatibility with a particular aircraft, application, fastener, component or process is critical, customers should verify the applicable specifications before use. Nothing in this section limits our responsibility where a product does not conform to the contract.
  3. Professional and Aviation Use: Many products sold by BST Aviation Tools are professional tools intended for use by appropriately trained or competent persons. The sale of a tool does not constitute certification, approval or authorisation to perform aircraft maintenance or any other regulated activity. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the tools they select are appropriate for their intended application and that their use complies with applicable maintenance data, approved procedures, manufacturer requirements, workplace requirements and regulatory requirements. Where work is performed on aircraft or aircraft components, applicable approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements take precedence over general commercial product information provided by BST Aviation Tools.
  4. Orders: Products displayed on the website constitute an invitation to place an order and are subject to availability. After an order is submitted, the customer may receive an electronic acknowledgement confirming that the order has been received. Where permitted by applicable law, BST Aviation Tools reserves the right to reject or cancel an order before fulfilment in cases including:
    • product unavailability;
    • obvious pricing or product-information errors;
    • suspected fraudulent or unauthorised payment;
    • inability to deliver to the supplied address; or
    • other legitimate circumstances preventing fulfilment.
    Where a paid order is cancelled by BST Aviation Tools and no substitute arrangement is agreed, amounts due to the customer will be refunded. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
  5. Prices: Product prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website. Applicable VAT and other taxes will be displayed or included as required by applicable law and according to the nature and destination of the transaction. Shipping charges are calculated separately unless expressly stated otherwise and will normally be shown before the customer completes the order.
  6. Payment: Orders must be paid using one of the payment methods offered through the website. Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available. The customer confirms that they are authorised to use the payment method selected. An order may be held or cancelled if payment is refused, reversed, flagged for fraud review or otherwise not successfully completed.
  7. Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information, including company information and VAT/tax identification details where applicable.
  8. Product Availability: Product availability and inventory levels may change. Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate stock information, occasional discrepancies may occur. If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate solution, which may include cancellation and reimbursement of the affected item.
  9. Shipping and Delivery: Shipping and delivery are governed by our separate Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Customers must provide accurate and complete delivery information. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
  10. Returns and Right of Withdrawal: Returns, refunds and the consumer right of withdrawal are governed by our separate Returns & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights available to consumers under Romanian or European Union law.
  11. Legal Guarantee and Product Conformity: Consumers are entitled to statutory remedies where goods do not conform to the sales contract, in accordance with applicable law. Any commercial or manufacturer's warranty offered for a particular product is additional to, and does not replace or restrict, mandatory statutory consumer rights. Commercial warranty terms may vary depending on the product and manufacturer.
  12. Improper Use: Customers must use products in accordance with their intended purpose, applicable instructions and appropriate professional practices. BST Aviation Tools is not responsible for damage resulting solely from improper use, abuse, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, use outside stated specifications or failure to follow applicable instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
  13. Safety-Critical and Aviation Applications: Customers working in aviation or other safety-critical industries are responsible for following applicable approved technical documentation, maintenance procedures, tool-control requirements and regulatory standards. Information provided on the BST Aviation Tools website constitutes commercial product information and must not be treated as a replacement for approved aircraft maintenance data, engineering instructions, manufacturer documentation or regulatory requirements. The customer remains responsible for determining whether a particular tool is suitable and approved, where approval is required, for the intended maintenance operation.
  14. Intellectual Property: Unless otherwise stated, website content created for BST Aviation Tools, including text, graphics, branding, logos and original photographs, is owned by or licensed to BSTECH AVIATION TOOLING SRL and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Content may not be copied, reproduced, republished or commercially exploited without permission except where permitted by law. Third-party trademarks, product names and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
  15. Website Availability: We make reasonable efforts to keep the website available and accurate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access and may temporarily suspend or modify parts of the website for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.
  16. Limitation of Liability: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law. Subject to mandatory law, BST Aviation Tools will not be liable for losses caused solely by improper use of products, failure to follow applicable instructions or approved maintenance procedures, unauthorised product modifications or use of a product for an application for which it was not designed. For business customers, additional limitations may apply to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory consumer remedies for defective or non-conforming goods.
  17. Consumer and Business Purchases: A consumer is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. A customer purchasing for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession may be treated as a business customer to the extent permitted by applicable law. Certain statutory consumer protections, including the statutory consumer right of withdrawal, do not automatically apply to business-to-business transactions.
  18. Force Majeure and Events Outside Our Control: BST Aviation Tools will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law. Such circumstances may include major transport disruptions, natural disasters, governmental restrictions, strikes affecting third-party services, severe weather or other comparable events. Where such an event affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its impact and communicate with the affected customer where appropriate.
  19. Personal Data: Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation. Customers should review the Privacy Policy before using the website or placing an order.
  20. Changes to These Terms: BST Aviation Tools may update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary to reflect changes in our business, services, website or applicable legal requirements. The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in force when the order was placed, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
  21. Governing Law and Disputes: These Terms and contracts concluded through BST Aviation Tools are governed by Romanian law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules. Where the customer is a consumer resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive the consumer of mandatory protections applicable to them under applicable law. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts or alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms determined under applicable law.
